Bringing faith to every heart

What Life Looks Like in Community

Life at Sanctuary Communities follows a rhythm of faith, fellowship, and purpose. Our days aren’t filled with idle time; they’re filled with the activities that build character, deepen relationships, and strengthen faith.

Here’s what you can expect when you join our community.

Daily Rhythm:

Morning

Days begin with morning devotions: a time of prayer, Scripture reading, and reflection as a community. This grounds us in God’s presence before the activities of the day begin. Residents pursuing treatment at Sanctuary Clinics then depart for their program, while others head to work, school, or their daily responsibilities.

Afternoon

Residents pursue their individual callings: clinical services, employment, education, or ministry. The community provides a stable home base from which to engage the world, with the support and accountability of brothers and sisters waiting at home.

Evening

Evenings bring us back together. Shared meals are a cornerstone of our life, echoing the early church’s practice of breaking bread together. After dinner, community activities vary: Bible study, prayer meetings, fellowship time, house meetings, or simply being present with one another. Evenings end with reflection and rest.

Length of Stay

Residents typically stay for 30, 60, or 90 days, though some choose to remain for up to 12 months. The length of your stay depends on your circumstances, goals, and sense of calling. We work with each resident to determine the timeline that makes sense for their journey.
